i dont think it was really something they wanted to do, since they got covid and right after or soon after both their parents passed away, couldve caused them to have trouble working on the game since it could relate to the bad memories, just hope nothing happened to them and their atleast doing ok
I hope they are okay and do start working on it again if not why not pass the game on to someone else but other then they lets hope we hear for him soon i didnt loose hope yet (3 yrs)

Honestly I find it kind of sad seeing the dev not continue making it, I understand they've gone through a lot so it's completely reasonable to abandon it if it brings back bad memories or something along those lines but this game genuinely had me really invested in the story, this is the first game to do that for me and it's left me yearning for more.
I really do hope the dev is happy and doing well in whatever ventures they've decided to move on to, overall a lovely game and certainly worth the time to play.

Some situations dragged on and went against how I was playing mostly true to self mentally, it wasn't intrusive enough to make me quit, 10/10, was hot. 🗿
Sadly this game most likely has been dropped, it has been a few years since the Creator has last posted, I do not know why they have charged for one month for the patrons and never came back, probably a mix of mental health or just that this project has bad memories too it either way this game most likely will never be finished even if it had great potential
